1. Who we are

TonieTales (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a children’s audio story service currently in pre-launch. We can be reached at hello@tonietales.com.

2. What information we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily provide:

• Email address — when you join our waitlist, we collect your email address so we can send you your free story and notify you when we launch.
• Story selection — we record which story you chose so we can deliver the correct MP3 file.
• Usage data — we collect anonymised analytics (e.g. which stories are previewed or downloaded) to improve the service. This data is never linked to your identity.

We do not collect names, payment information, phone numbers, or any data from children.

3. How we use your information

• To deliver your free story via email
• To send you updates about TonieTales, including our launch date and early-bird pricing
• To improve our content and service based on anonymised usage patterns

We will never use your email to send you unrelated marketing, and we will never sell or rent your information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate TonieTales:

• Supabase — stores your email address and story selection securely. Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Supabase is GDPR-compliant.
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (your story delivery email). Resend processes your email address solely for delivery purposes.

We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or third-party analytics platforms.

5. Data retention

We keep your email address on our waitlist until you ask us to remove it, or until 12 months after our service launches, at which point inactive accounts will be deleted. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@tonietales.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Children’s privacy

TonieTales is a service for parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our waitlist and email communications are directed at parents and guardians only. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our site may use essential session cookies required for the site to function correctly. No personal data is stored in cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
