1. About TonieTales

TonieTales is a children’s audio story service currently in pre-launch. By joining our waitlist or downloading a story, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you have questions, email us at hello@tonietales.com.

2. The waitlist and free story

By submitting your email address, you are joining the TonieTales waitlist. As a thank-you, we will send you one free MP3 story of your choice. This story is for personal, non-commercial use only — it may be downloaded and loaded onto your own Toniebox or compatible device, but may not be redistributed, resold, or shared publicly.

Joining the waitlist means you agree to receive occasional emails from us about TonieTales, including our launch announcement and early-bird offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TonieTales for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Redistribute, resell, or publicly share any content downloaded from TonieTales
• Submit false or misleading information when joining the waitlist
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with our service

4. Intellectual property

All stories, audio content, artwork, and other materials available through TonieTales are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright law. Downloading a story grants you a personal, non-transferable license to listen to that content on your own devices. No other rights are granted.

The TonieTales name, logo, and branding are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written consent.

5. Pre-launch disclaimer

TonieTales is currently in pre-launch. The full subscription service, including unlimited stories, custom story creation, and ambient sound mixes, has not yet launched. Features described on our website represent our intended offering and may change before or after launch. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the full service or lock in any pricing.

6. Limitation of liability

TonieTales is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our website or email delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TonieTales or any content downloaded from it.

7. Third-party devices and services

TonieTales content is designed to be compatible with Toniebox and Creative Tonies, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Boxine GmbH (makers of Toniebox). Compatibility is provided on a best-efforts basis. We are not responsible for changes made by third-party device manufacturers that may affect compatibility.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. Continued use of TonieTales after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If you are a consumer, you retain any rights you are entitled to under the laws of your country of residence.
